I worked at Metcash full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

I don't work there anymore. Natural sunlight. Colleagues were nice.

    Cons

Very toxic environment. A lot of senior figures who are bullies, racially incorrect such as ”you people”. Long hours and procedures/protocls not being followed ad demanding it to be done. Passive aggressive managers. Felt isolated as I am a LGBT, didn't feel comfortable.

I worked at Metcash full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Some great people, pay over market benchmarks, HUGE bonuses for senior employees

    Cons

Mediocrity is celebrated, and anyone with new ideas, particularly in support services, is quickly shown the door. Some leaders are more concerned with protecting their egos than building high performing teams. And those mediocre leaders still take home exorbitant bonuses each year.
