    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Method Studios for less than a year

    Pros

The films, snacks and Friday night drinks. But that’s about it.

    Cons

Terrible management. Long hours and tight deadlines. Terrible pay and no training. No career advancement because the production managers have been there for years and think they own the joint. The biggest bunch of rude incompetent human beings I’ve ever worked with. Very very two faced and unprofessional behavior.

I have been working at Method Studios full-time for more than a year

    Pros

If you like a challenge for show production, you've come to the right place. Nice Facilities Excellent Location Nice Employees Good Company Spirit

    Cons

A lot of projects are poorly managed and under resourced. Overwhelming amount of work; not evenly spread out. A lot of overtime is a must; not really optional in many cases (feel pressured to stay often) Neglect from Management

    I worked at Method Studios

    Pros

There are no pros to working at this studio

    Cons

    - They signed onto a creature-heavy show with NO CREATURE PIPELINE in place. So with no creature SOP's in place, you can imagine how the show progressed as it neared closer to delivery. - The artists are worked way too hard and many are driven to quitting the industry overall after working at Method. - When production ramps up, say goodbye to your social life and personal relationships because you are expected to work overtime like everyone else. The concept of work-life balance is foreign to management. - Supervisors bad-mouth artists' work all the time behind their backs - Shows are not properly bid for initially, resulting in a mad scramble to find last-minute artists to work on short-deadlined shots with little-to-no training provided. - Cross-site shows from VAN to LA are an absolute nightmare because the two locations have very different approaches to doing things, and wires are crossed all the time.

I worked at Method Studios for less than a year

    Pros

The artists are great - really care about their work.

    Cons

Company doesn't care about career goals or retention. Really sour environment filled with gossip and competition over teamwork

    Current Contractor - Production Coordinator

I have been working at Method Studios for less than a year

    Pros

The people are amiable and hard workers. A lot of positive comradery within teams.

    Cons

The infrastructure is messy. Corporate has made it more difficult to grow in a position, and raises rarely happen for loyal staff members. There is high turnover for contract and staff employees alike.

I worked at Method Studios full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Nice facilities, some good people who are really hard working. You will learn a lot because you interact with many different departments.

    Cons

A lot of back stabbing. Lazy management and supervisors that are only still there because they have been there so long. Company is super cheap and will pay you as little as possible while working you to the bone. Constantly extends freelancers by a month and strings people along.
