I have been working at MidwayUSA full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free lunch on overtime days. You walk a lot so if u have weight u won't after being there for a minute. Decent 401k if u r there long enough good luck we went through 80% of the employees in two to three months.

    Cons

Not good pay for workload. Designed job for college kids not experienced workforce. They treat you like children in kindergarten can't use the restroom or anything. Feel bad it's a racist environment. After the kids get out of college they offer them 28 a year and act like that's okay and a good living. The managers and trainers are very impatient and talk to people like idiots even when you first start, for example I told someone what was going on with a package and the response was "okaaaaaaayyyyy" been there for two days. Highest turnover rate ever no experienced workers ever so it's a constant battle.

    Advice to Management

Focus on experienced employees and keeping them happy. Do not wear someone out just because they're good at picking and batch picking keep the workload equal. When level 4's are pack admins could we please make them actually do the job begging for boxes is the dumbest thing that can happen all of the time. Maybe hr teach the management and level 4's a proper way to respect in order to get respect.

    Pros

Midway offeres benefits for part time employees that include a 401k, profit sharing, profit sharing and mostly flexible hours.

    Cons

The work is mind-numbingly repetitive and boring. Overtime is an often occurrence which requires an extra hour of work. Taking time off must be planned months in advance.
