I worked at MillerCoors full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Free beer Opportunity to connect with people from all over the world Uniform options include lots of free branded apparel

    Cons

My experience is limited to Guest Relations; Lots of turnover for tour guides, partially due to toxic work environment. Employees were frequently hired for a role, and then staffed in an entirely different capacity. Corporate seems intent to cut costs at every opportunity. After a coordinator left, instead of filling the position immediately, a new position was created where tour guides work team leads once a week, performing coordinator level duties; position is only $1 additionally per hour. Advancement does not appear to be merit based. The workplace environment is SO brutal, no one is happy to be there. Tour guides are hired for 38.5 hours a week so they can be considered part time, and until recently were only paid $11/hr. For a company which advertises itself as a great place for queer people to work, in reality, management/HR was very insensitive of LGBTQ+ issues and didn't respond to complaints about workplace harrassment/ personal safety appropriately.

I worked at MillerCoors full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great coworkers and comradery amongst employees in the field. Free beer. Frequent expense paid trips to partner craft breweries, sponsored events (concerts/festivals/etc.), convention with 5000+ coworkers once per year. If you're willing and able to move anywhere MillerCoors tells you to, it's a great first job for new grads. Great healthcare package and mileage reimbursement.

    Cons

Pay in certain markets is well below competitor salaries for similar positions--nearly impossible to survive in major cities without a second job. National marketing programs and sales goals are not always tailored to local markets--Aka some beers don't do as well in some cities/states as they do in others, but goals are set nationally. Room for advancement is pretty slim in comparison to other suppliers.
