I worked at MoMA PS1 full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Great benefits - rotating exhibitions kept work interesting

    Cons

    - Very little oversight - zero room for growth - clear favoritism in all departments and at all levels of management - terrible work-life balance, too many poorly-planned events get in the way of actually getting your work done - open on all holidays except Xmas

I have been working at MoMA PS1 part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Incredible exhibitions and live programming. Great staff culture with quality employees in all departments. Prestigious programming and exhibitions, and ample opportunities to work with emerging artists.

    Cons

Depending on the department, it can be severely understaffed with core and part time employees working extreme hours. Can be a very unstable workplace for part time employees.
