I worked at Myer for more than a year

    Pros

Overall working environment is fine- friendly coworkers etc

    Cons

If you are a casual, shifts are never guaranteed and can be cut last minute. It can also be difficult to obtain a part time position. Also gets stressful when your department is understaffed which it often will be.

I worked at Myer part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Nice work environment Basic retail role

    Cons

Struggled to get shifts, other colleagues spoke of having to be managements "favourite" in order to get regular shifts Tried to communicate for more shifts, change in department, was told I would be better off finding work elsewhere as they had too many employees and too little work for everyone

    Advice to Management

Better communication, hiring employees with hours available to delegate
