I worked at NBN Group full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Easy to use software, good employment for beginners in their field. Dunkin is next door. No overtime.

    Cons

Smile, you are on candid camera (with sound) no matter where you are in the building. I was shown how it's done by a manager on the managers IPhone. No raises or bonuses. No one gets fired, no matter how unproductive you are. Yearly reviews are not taken seriously by employees because management doesn't do them in a timely manner. Training is minimal due to the lack of experience of co-workers ( high... turn-over rate). For the first 4 years I worked there it was great! Everyone was excited to be there, and wanted to help each other achieve goals, and share knowledge. Somehow that all changed and it became a creepy place to work, management blamed their mistakes on employees to save face with the owner. Rules changing before you even knew it was a rule. As upper management quit (not fired) one by one, the atmosphere changed dramatically. All of the negative posts are true. They are not posted by fired employees, they are posted by employees who chose to leave as the company lost it's direction. They left to preserve their sanity. The company needs to send survey's to all of the employees who left over the past 3 years to find out why they resigned/quit. Perhaps the company can gain insight as to why we left. NBN is very disjointed, not many employees stay more than a year.

    Advice to Management

Remember that without employees, you would not have a company. Re-learn what worked and change what isn't working. Treat employees like they matter. And most of all change your motto." Champions of Caring" was lost a long time ago.
