Pros

Making a difference, clever people - an organisation where you are able to contribute to an important body of work to improve national health

Cons

Sometimes bureaucratic and too much process. Can do with a simpler way of doing things.

Pros

Great work environment, you get to meet people from all over the world. Work is often outdoors and doing a variety of different things.

Cons

NPS-centric people. You have to "belong" to get promoted. Its very difficult to move around unless you have connections.

internal politics. Lack of salary parity. Long hours (at least in my role as CSM anyway)
