The staff were great to work with, regular customers have a lot of passion for the products and I was lucky to have a store manager that looked out for me
Cons
Long hours, low pay, expected to do everything (in my case, FOH, BOH, cleaning and management paperwork all by myself) with very little or no thanks and in one case of doing all this and being busy I was asked by the BDM why I had not climbed into to roof to clean the exhaust fans. No internal promotions, despite what they say. They overlook loyal workers to bring people with no experience into higher paid roles with more responsibility. Spend more time working on new colour schemes for items than looking out for their staff - made a whole store redundant with little notice and no pay out.
