I have been working at National Australia Bank full-time

    Pros

Culture Good work life balance for most junior positions, but ramps up quickly as you gain tenure. Salaries at or above market (CBA usually give you a title prior to adjusting your salary upwards, with NAB it’s concurrent)

    Cons

Like any large corporate, slow to move KYC process Historical underinvestment in technology (e.g. next gen)

    Advice to Management

Needs strong investment in technology. Over reliant on small subset of good employees that often over extend, burn out, and change careers

I worked at National Australia Bank

      Pros

flexible working arrangement and the GM is very approachable.

      Cons

lack of ownership, the role used to be self-initiative, innovative, but now it gradually becomes a facilitator role that has no control or power to execute anything. Unless you work on big project, there is nothing can be done. many other teams only look at the title and neglect what previous and other skills the team members have, it's very frustrating.

      Advice to Management

if the role is not working as it is, merge it to other teams and make use of people's skills.
