    great culture overall, always seeking improvement opportunities

    Cons

    culture was still great but declining due to many long time employees that built the culture leaving

    Work with the good employees you have left

    Pros

    Great people. Teamwork. A business model that has promise.

    Cons

    Executive team losing touch with employees. Attrition is losing tribal knowledge. Institutional employee programs are forced and not bought in.

    Connect with people what they really want and not what the consultants say you need.

    Pros

    Sustainable company that truly cares about the environment and their footprint. Do a lot of the right things for the right reasons without seeking credit. Small enough to be personal but large enough to have good processes in place.

    Cons

    Constant transformations, too many layoffs, almost completely new leadership team with primary focus on numbers. Many of the things that made the company special are disappearing and being replaced with corporate-think.

    Advice to Management

    Be more creative in creating fiscal solvency other than layoffs. Don't allow IBM or GE to be your model.

    Pros

    Invests in employees education and training. Leaders generally are well aligned and move in the same direction. There is much emphasis in continuos improvement. The company has been very stable and has delivered solid business results in the past.

    Cons

    Difficult to make massive improvements. Small improvements are more likely to take hold. Category has become more competitive and achieving financial targets has become more difficult recently.

    Cons

    Review : Hope, BC - Unqualified people in the management. This is a micro factory of Nestle in North America. There are many unqualified and inexperienced employees put up in the management. Internal job postings would ask for a university degrees plus 3 to 5 years of experience, but some of the management employees are in place at the moment who won't even qualify or fulfil the requirement to sit in an interview for these jobs. In addition, these employees are lacking on communication skills and to understand North American work environment. No on site permanent HR person makes it really difficult for floor people when they have any concerns about their supervisors.

    Unqualified people put up in the management
    Lack of respect for people on the floor
    Short staffing makes it hard and difficult for people on the floor to work in a safe manner
    No standard work or performance review procedures in place
    No full time HR on site
    Job threats when people on the floor makes any mistake, but not a single action taken against any serious mistake made by management employee(s)

    Advice to Management

    Take actions against wrong decisions/actions taken by management employees
    Hire a full time HR person on site
    Hire qualified staff in the management positions. Set same criteria as put for operators
