I worked at New Horizons Computer Learning Centers full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The particular position hours were regular and I was able to budget based off my hours per week in which were hours per week worked.

    Cons

The management was very discriminate towards me and my ability to achieve task completion even if the tasks were not necessary but the tasks were necessary in my mind to stay busy and to STAY AWAKE!
I never received a proper training with upper management, what so ever!

    Advice to Management

I would have rather been moved to a different position instead of letting me go. I would have rather moved positions to benefit the company as well as possibly meet my particular skill set within the work place. I felt incredibly judged and misunderstood of the “weaknesses” I portrayed, in which ever way I may have portrayed my weakenesses at that point in my career path.

    Advice to Management

    Help with leads

    Pros

Helping customers better their workforce with training.

    Cons

Commission plan, admin work, daily "points" system you must maintain as an AE, not a place I would recommend.

I worked at New Horizons Computer Learning Centers full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This position is great for nurturing you on how to research and use LinkedIn, provides you an insight on what certifications do, and you're able to get free study material for any certification of your choosing. This role is a great entry level position for anyone getting into tech or software sales.

    Cons

The training is not the best. It's more of a sit you down and see if you'll sink or sail. It's not a position where you can give management advice or suggestions.

    Advice to Management

Improve your on-board training and be open to take advice and suggestions.
