I have been working at New Western for more than a year

    Pros

What an amazing opportunity. This job requires a lot of hard work and requires you to be very coachable, but it pushes you to quickly learn the ins and outs of the investment real estate world. Unlike other brokerages, there is an amazing team environment where everyone is rooting for you to succeed. The culture, management, and earning potential are all HUGE pros to the job. I couldn't be happier with the company and opportunity that I have been given.

    Cons

Because this is a 100% commission based job, there is an entrepreneurial feel to it. You must be willing to put in the work to grow your business. Self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and a coachable mindset are invaluable in this position. With that being said, the company/management does a LOT to help you get to where you need to be, unlike a typical real estate brokerage.

I worked at New Western full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great work environment where everyone is very friendly and genuinely want's you to succeed and will help you whenever they can. It is not an easy job by any means but you can make a lot of money if you put in the work. You can come and go as you please so long as you are doing well at your job.

    Cons

100% commission can be tough and stressful to handle at times.

I worked at New Western full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great training for new agents looking to immediately learn the wholesaling/investing side of Real Estate. Alex Glass, is the best GM/Broker hands down. I truly enjoyed my time with them and will always recommend them for any new agents just coming into this line of work.

    Cons

100% Commission, sink or swim. Not really a con, just a reality.

I worked at New Western full-time

    Pros

There is always potential to make money. New Western does a great job of giving sales reps leads. The AA’s keep the houses coming as well. Never a dull moment.

    Cons

100% commission. Tough at first to make money but once you do it’s great.

I have been working at New Western for less than a year

    Pros

-Unlimited PTO -Helpful environment -Great learning opportunity

    Cons

-Hard work to start (can also be a pro), essentially building your own business -Unlimited PTO but long hours to start; you won't be using any PTO in the beginning if you want to do well -100% commission (again can also be pro), you won't be making money for the first few months -Lots of promises but the reality is, there is high turnover -Contract, so no health benefits

I have been working at New Western full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I never thought a company like this was out there in the world. You get the opportunity as a younger individual, degree or not, to choose your own fate. So many people out there want to be successful but can't find the platform to do it on. This company is THE platform for success and what I love is that it's not some pyramid scheme or multi-level marketing with a random product. This company holds true value and does sincerely good business. They do things the right way - ethically, legally, and honestly - and that was very important to me personally. I have been working here for 2 1/2 years and am already weeks away from becoming a manager and running an office. The gentlemen running this company started in sales and have been through the entire process. Moving up in this company is not based on seniority, it is based on performance. Your earning potential is limitless. I have doubled my income every year that I've worked here. You learn from the best and hold yourself to a higher standard. The office environment is ONE OF A KIND. Every office is a family and everyone is working together to build one another up. The training is outstanding. 2-3 trainings per week from the top producers in the office and they help you with every step until you're ready to run the play on your own. Lastly, you get a deep insight to real estate investment, one of the biggest industries on the planet. You get to see what's going on in the market; what investors are buying, strategies for investment, and eventually you're flipping your own houses.

    Cons

100% commission obviously. Also, you have complete freedom with how you spend your time at the office throughout the day so it takes a lot of discipline and work ethic. It is tough to learn at first and requires a lot of you but once you get the hang of it you will find that it is very easy to make a lot of money.

I have been working at New Western full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There is no other company out there like New Western, nowhere else that I have heard of or seen has the opportunity for advancement that you will find here. The training provided is second to none, you can come into this company and know nothing about real estate and 3 months later be an expert in the service we provide and in your market. Being with this company has completely changed my life on an professional and personal level, my income has increased exponentially as well as my confidence and quality of life. Your pay is directly reflected by how much work you put in and your advancement in the company is based on production and not seniority. If you are putting in the work, your pay and position in the company will reflect that.

    Cons

Not many, honestly if your not used to a 100% commission based job it will be difficult to get used to, also it can be a bit hard to focus at times especially when your office has a great environment where everyone has alot of fun. The learning curve can be a bit steep and if you want to be really successful here you have to dedicate all of your time to what you do, basically obsess over your work.

I have been working at New Western full-time

    Pros

If you want to wake up in the morning and not dread going to work everyday this is the job for you. You learn something new everyday and there's never a boring moment. Great team who genuinely want to see you succeed. The GM wants you to succeed and start your own branch one day.

    Cons

100% commission can be scary at first, but the harder you work the more money you will make.

I have been working at New Western full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

My favorite things about working for New Western has always been the unlimited earning potential and the freedom to spend my time as I please as long as I'm producing.

    Cons

I wouldn't necessarily consider these cons, but our agents are 100% commission and that isn't for the faint of heart.
