Pros

You will learn quickly how to navigate a toxic work environment

Cons

Out of fear of personal retaliation from the CEO, I will not share too many details, but will say that the negative reviews on Glassdoor are overwhelmingly correct. This is the most toxic work environment and the business is a lot of smoke and mirrors. Employees are heavily pressured to share positive reviews, which is where the 5-stars are from.

Pros

I have had an overwhelmingly positive experience working at Nickerson. As a full-service agency specializing in PR, marketing, and branding, the company's greatest strength is its top-tier team and culture of collaboration. What truly sets Nickerson apart is its unwavering focus on professional development. I have never worked for another company so committed to providing tools and support for growth. From weekly one-on-one coaching sessions to support for professional memberships and encouragement to attend events and conferences, the investment in team members is unmatched. Opportunities for growth are abundant, and the agency actively encourages team members to focus on their strengths while providing clear pathways for advancement. On a day-to-day basis, what I enjoy most is working alongside a team of incredibly talented professionals who inspire each other to deliver their best work. It is a high-energy, collaborative environment where creativity thrives. Overall, Nickerson is an outstanding place to work if you are looking for a supportive, growth-focused, and flexible workplace with a fantastic team culture.

Cons

Remote work offers great flexibility, but it also requires discipline and the ability to thrive with minimal oversight, which isn't for everyone.
