    I worked at NortonLifeLock full-time

    Pros

Overall, great people, good benefits. Exciting times with the renewed focus on security after divesting Veritas and acquiring BlueCoat and LifeLock

    Cons

    - Lack of training - Repeated years of limiting pay increases at review time mean that long-term staff are underpaid

I have been working at NortonLifeLock full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Symantec offer very good benefits, good working environment and the opportunity to challenge yourself. Being a Global company there is the chance to take up positions in different countries. The latest acquisition of Bluecoat has put Symantec in a very strong position in the CyberSecurity business allowing it to dominate a number of different markets.

    Cons

Over the last 5 years there has been significant change at Symantec as the company tries to position itself in today's fast moving digital world - the split away from Veritas and the recent acquisition of Bluecoat are major changes for the company.

I have been working at NortonLifeLock full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Market leader, good benefits, achievable targets, great incentives and travel, good culture in various business units.

    Cons

Quite political, process driven (too much process and red tape), currently undergoing an organisational change that is taking some time, but if we get it right, Symantec will emerge in the top of its class and will become a great place to work. Hard yards to put in to get there but it may all be worth it.
