    Pros

    Truly outstanding products that are well respected within the market.
    Great people to work with, making it a fun and enjoyable environment to come to everyday.
    Company direction is clear and regularly communicated at our monthly Town Hall updates.

    Cons

    Whilst our systems have progressed over the last year or two, we still have some inefficiencies with our infrastructure.

    Advice to Management

    Keep listening to your people, and keep up the great communication.

    Caring, Warm and friendly teams/managers
    Olympus is focused on improvement and genuinely making a difference
    Great flexibility, and opportunities to develop your career
    Life changing products, that make you feel that you are contributing to wider community!

    Cons

    Systems and processes need to be improved, over the past 4 years there has been so much growth that some of the systems are lacking, however I know that this is on the agenda to improve.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you are doing. We have a warm and friendly culture and happy people!

    Great customers and product, flexible work

    Cons

    No value or respect for employees, managers are very inexperienced and don't treat staff equally, opportunity is available only to a select few, its a "dog eat dog" environment

    Advice to Management

    Let's not give credit where credit is not due!
    Don't turn your staff against each other...

    Flexibility, Great people. Great products. Good market share in some segments.

    Cons

    Lack of communication relative to senior leadership initiative. Direction from head quarters ( Japan) affects performance and local market requirements.

    Can't think of anything significant. Can be a bit slow to make decisions. Would be great if we could transfer to other Olympus sites

    Solid salary and decent work life balance. Insights into an interesting market. Future proof industry. Good reputation within the industry.

    Great team environment where culture and values are forefront of mind. I've worked in several organisations over my time, and I, hand on heart, genuinely enjoy coming to work each and every day.

    Systems and processes could be more streamlined, however I know that these elements are on the agenda to evolve and improve.

    Advice to Management

    Perhaps consider further transparency or more timely communication as decisions are made. Further focus on developing from within and encouraging / enabling team members to think bold and question the status quo.
