    Good work/ life balance You can wear sneakers and jeans to work Once you're permanent they'll never let you go

    Culture of reactivity rather than proactive Management are too busy managing their own brands or fighting each other to fix issues at the front line

    Lack of leadership and strategy in Optus Business. Micromanagement of teams leads to poor employee engagement.

    The current culture of toxicity is unsustainable. Lots of change is taking its toll. Put your people first and the business will prosper.

    Interesting industry, constantly changing and driven. Giving something to work towards every day.

    Cons

    Customer aggression in relation to uncontrollable store level incidents. Company always defends the customer and the staff members being abused. Low pay in comparison to direct competitor "Telstra".

    Be prepared for abusive customer in relation to the lack of support the customer has received from customer support and the lack of support or changes implemented to resolve the matters causing the issues. System outage, Rude customer service team, undesirable processes and customer care wait/hold times.

    Easy life style, low pressure

    Cons

    Management are all looking after themselves and playing politics all the time. No accountability. Progress is very slow due to managers always trying to find ways to spread the accountability and blame.

    Should try to manage like a modern company, not like a big government style bureaucracy.
