I have been working at Opus Talent Solutions full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great career progression, very transparent, and people-oriented! I've met the COO, CEO, and Founder of the company personally and worked with them in the same office. Not only do I get to know them better, but it also makes me feel valued as an employee in the office that the senior management pays attention to us and fly in to ensure everything is in place. Lots of training and advice and monthly reviews to make sure everything is on track - can't ask for a more supportive employer!

    Cons

Long hours and constant pressure to meet targets - but that's the normality in recruitment isn't it?

I have been working at Opus Talent Solutions full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Opus push you to a level you never thought was possible, train you to work in the most efficient manner to optimise your work day. This along with the fantastic training Opus provide allow you to elevate your career if you're willing to work for it. Opus reward the people that want to excellent, they specialise in not being average and compete at the highest level in recruitment.

    Cons

"If you want something you've never had, you must be willing to do something you've never done." - Some people want the glories of recruitment but aren't willing to put the effort in. You must give yourself, be patient, be consistent and the rewards will come.

I have been working at Opus Talent Solutions full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I’ve read some of the reviews on here and I’m a little baffled, must have been the people that say they want to be successful but don’t actually want to do the work or listen to advice of people around them. My experiences have been nothing but positive. It’s evident that Opus really invested in us. We all have LinkedIn recruiter account, all major job boards, multiple in-house trainers, they also encourage us to get out and meet our clients as much as possible. But if we are too busy they have business development managers that will go on the road for us. Anything that makes our job easier or saves us time they invest in. The quality within the office is second to none, when I went to interviews before I joined “top billers” at other companies wouldn’t have got into the top 10 in the Bristol office. The commission structure was also the best around and no thresholds!

    Cons

Don’t hire the people that are content with being average.

I worked at Opus Talent Solutions full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The training is good, nice offices near the train station and the seasonal conference parties are pretty cool.

    Cons

Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the Pros when it comes to explaining what it's like to work for Opus. - Low pay (below market rate on all levels) - A bullish environment where fear of getting "made an example of" to the whole company is used as a motivator? - Working hours - (whilst this directly shouldn't be problem as it is recruitment at the end of the day) be warned management will publicly shame if within 10 minutes early or heavens forbid you to leave the office at 6.05pm (expect to be escorted to a room to justify why the train was late - tip: not much point in justifying, you'll receive a schlacking never the less) - Sick days are discretional according to the contracts, but expect them to be deducted from your monthly salary as it's not acceptable to be ill. (ask T.P, but I'm sure he'll tell you anyway, he's not had a sick day in his life...legend) - The owner and CEO became detached from his business (a sabbatical after the summer party may have been a contributing factor...) he's always chasing bigger better ventures but a feeling of neglect across the sweatshop floor...sorry offices was fairly apparent

    Cons
