I have been working at PRA Health Sciences full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I have a very flexible manager.
The chain of management is listening to my advice. They don’t always have to go in my direction, as they have a longer term vision, but they listen.
I get the resources I need to do my job.
Everyone around me contributes to the greater good.

It’s a for profit business but the organization/people have the right priorities and care about outcomes and safety.

    Cons

Outdated office, but it’s being remodeled in 2018.
Please read advice area. I’m too new to form any cons, it would be unfair.

    Advice to Management

You could provide a bit more free drinks and quality creamer for coffee; the powdered crap is dirt cheap. And the glow in the dark HFCS creamer is terrible for your health.

Put a pool table and ping pong in the break room.

Add some lounge areas for collaboration with entertainment.

Invest in quality desk chairs and give everyone power sit/stand desks for health and comfort.

The overcrowded office is lowering some employee moral in areas/groups being forced to share space.

You need to take information security more seriously and build out a dedicated SOC team, your revenue and size is encroaching Fortune 500 status. Some of the infrastructure people don’t have a wholistic approach to security and have clear blindsides to weaknesses in your posture. However, your devops team/practices seem quite well run. So kudos!

I worked at PRA Health Sciences full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You're able to work from home a few days a week.

    Cons

You're expected to do the work of 3 people without being appropriately compensated. The pay is laughable. I always ate lunch at my desk because I was constantly overwhelmed with the amount of work. There is very little upward movement unless you are friends with management.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees. Of the 40 employees hired in 2016, only a handful remain. There is a reason for that.

    Cons

I have been working at PRA Health Sciences full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Embedded program with sponsors. I like my current position with the sponsor. Flexibility to move around with home based options.

    Cons

Would like more PTO. Mediocre cost of living raises. Health care provider not the greatest. Seems to be continuous movement of staffing. I am getting close to retirement and would prefer consistency.
