Very disappointing; don't believe the hype!

Pros

The only thing I can think of is that they allow you to work from home at times.

Cons

This company does not deserve a 1 star rating, let alone to be in the top 50 companies in to work for, according to BRW. I had a horrible experience working in the executive team. My work and feedback in my area of expertise was largely set aside by Senior Management - why did they hire me in the first place? In addition to that there was large component of micro-management. This company is very set in their ways and is by no means innovative as they say they are. I’ve worked for many companies in the past, and have never had to deal with this level of dysfunction and poor management.

We were saddened to read that your personal experience was negative. We work extremely hard on creating a culture where our people are respected, supported and encouraged to be the best they can be, however we do acknowledge that this environment is not for everyone, so we appreciate your feedback which we will take on board. We wish you all the best in your future career endeavours and hope you find an organisation that is the right fit for you.

Pros

None. Literally none. One of the worst employment experiences I've ever had.

Cons

Old outdated management with zero credibility, stuck in the 00's and no real comprehension of how the world has evolved. I was treated like garbage from several people in a specific department early on, which pretty much set the tone. Ridiculous amount of admin for sales (quadruple data entry in many cases) Ridiculous amount of meetings (where it's just the unqualified managers talking nonsense) One manager gets people to grade his meetings out of 10, and if you grade it 7 or less it warrants a further conversation! lol That same manager had a sook about his low score in one of those supposed "unanimous" surveys, and then ambushed his team about it (the narcissism is heavy with that one) Favoritism is big here with the clique. Basically the 10 years + group, which is why they're stuck in the 00's, because they think they know everything and aren't interested in new ideas. If you're a BDR, avoid this place like the plague. No leadership or credibility at the top of the BDR team. Just there for his own ego!

We appreciate that sometimes the environment we operate within doesn’t suit everyone, and that people will have their own perspectives and values. We understand that when expectations are not aligned, this can lead to a less than ideal experience for those involved. Whilst your time with us wasn’t as you anticipated, we do hope that you have found a place where you have both the scope and opportunity for continued success.

Pros

Flexible working arrangements, international reach, mobility opportunities, friendly team.

Cons

Good work is rarely acknowledged unless you're in the dev team. You have to blow your own trumpet if you want any sort of recognition. Management will keep note of everything you do and use it against you if they don't like you. They are not afraid to push you out the door in the most unethical ways. CEO is uninspiring and company values are false. This is not a 'Great Place to Work'.

We know we don't always get things right but reading this does devastate us. Obviously this is not the experience we have been working so hard to cultivate. We hope your next workplace is the right fit for you.
