I have been working at Pitney Bowes full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Ok money, good people, arnp on staff, modern equipment that sells itself, easy goals and little bonuses if you have any people skills

    Cons

Constantly worrying if you’ll have a job next week, has turned into a classic call center, talk time and various metrics are top priority instead of revenue or clients.

I have been working at Pitney Bowes full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The pay is amazing. I sell supplies by making outbound calls to current customers. The bonus opportunities are way more than I made selling health and life insurance. Benefits are great from DAY ONE. They almost always have something going for the employees, contests, free lunch, awards ceremonies, etc. I feel there is room to grow in this company and I plan on staking my career here. The company is making some big changes in reinventing itself and we get to be a part of that change.

    Cons

Making the same outbound calls all day can be boring, it's true. Some days can be frustrating as well, but, if you are motivated and stick with it, it is a great job.

I worked at Pitney Bowes full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Some Managers genuinely care about the well being of their staff.

    Cons

They promote a culture of non-ethical sales practices. Their employee handbooks state an employee receives certain benefits but their Human Resources department finds as many reasons not listed anywhere for them to not pay the benefits. They do not stand behind their own promises even when there is written proof. They reward people who perform theft from customers while berating employees who work ethically. They treat their temporary employees miserably while leading them to believe they will become part of the company only to string them along.

I worked at Pitney Bowes full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Job security. Sales training was comprehensive. People were very nice to work with. My direct sales manager was very helpful. good company, go for it.

    Cons

I would highly recommend for an entry level sales. Too much sales/order processing, which inhibits time with the customer.

    Pros

Very Good Benefits and good training program

    Cons

Dying industry with no strategic direction to diversify. Compensation is a joke. Salary are below sub standard, laughable. Quotas are unrealistic. Daily revenue calls are beyond ridiculous. Panic and pressure are a result of poor pathetic direction of management
