    Cons

It was easy to succumb to disappointment of rejection, but that happens in sales.

    Advice to Management

keep it up I think it's great you give college students the chance to learn real world business skills!

    Pros

Great people and a real sense of community
    Conveniently close to major highways
Moving in the right direction - Very exciting time to be at PBP

    Cons

The only downside I see at the moment is that departments and divisions have always been very siloed. However, barriers are beginning to break down; increased communication and collaboration is starting to occur, so things are definitely going in the right direction.

    Advice to Management

Continue to keep your teams in the loop for new strategies and initiatives that are in the works now and in the future. Communication is important to the development of the company, culture and its people.

I have been working at Progressive Business Publications full-time

    Pros

Like many at the company, I've been at PBP for 5+ years. In that time, the company has evolved, culminating with the hiring of a new CEO - John Benbrook. John has brought a new focus and energy. The company is investing in the software and technology necessary to take us to the next level.

The company isn't perfect, but it's made up of hardworking individuals who care.

    Cons

Getting IT resources is always a challenge.

I'd like to see more company-wide events. We used to have a annual company picnic, but that hasn't happened in a couple years.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on the long term.
