I have been working at Queensland Health full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Flexible work. Good pay. Sometimes interesting work.

    Cons

Management outright lies. The say they are interested in staff wellbeing but don't do anything to make it better. If staff don't join in you will get punished. They hold yearly surveys and the results are pretty much the same every year. Then management do some "training" and come back and say everything is better but keep doing the same things as they did before and get angry when staff aren't happy. Lots of low level bullying. Most people either leave or just become numb and do their job and go home. Which is funny because it is supposed to be an innovative organisation. Many senior directors regard staff as idiots to be humoured. Lots of stress.

I worked at Queensland Health full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good pay and leave and super benefits.

    Cons

Bullying is rife in admin areas. Middle management seem to have huge chips on their shoulders and bully those "under" them openly and covertly. Complaints are dealt with in-house so the bullying can be kept secret and unsubtantiated. They say they want to deal with bullying in all their policies but the reality is very different.
