      Doesn't Recommend

I worked at Queensland Health full-time for less than a year

      Pros

It was a great learning experience - professionally and personally.

      Cons

Fellow colleagues were racist. They used to mock people from other cultures. When I raised a issue with the team leader, he said 'We have very informal work culture' and I'll get used to it. After I left my job, I ended up with very low self confidence . Till date I panic sometimes think about the time I worked there.

I have been working at Queensland Health full-time for more than 5 years

      Pros

Everyday was different, and therefore exciting at times.

      Cons

Some staff would look down on you if their role/position was higher than yours. A lot of cancelled shifts if you’re in the casual pool depending on the time of year and whether they’re busy.

      Advice to Management

Management improved a lot over the 5 years I was an employed by them.
