Continue readingThank you for the great ratings. I do not know how to respond to your comment because we have no truck driver roles and no staff in Brisbane, or anywhere in Australia. Perhaps you mean to review another employer.

Pros
Good salary. Plenty of over time. Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday loading.
Cons
Call centre is a little toxic (but I suppose that's to be expected). Everyone that's been working there for more than a few months gets so caught up in the drama. Prepare to be micromanaged like nothing else - go to the bathroom to do what you need to do? You better take less than 4 minutes or a Team Leader will come looking for you (that's all they do, make sure their staff aren't leaving their post, but actually don't do any work themselves except a select few who don't get the recognition they deserve because of bias upper management). Workspace is tired and old, no natural light... whole place is stuck in time, but with seriously bright overhead 'office' lighting and 100 digital screens to overwhelm your senses. Be prepared to go home every day sad and depressed, but wealthy for doing not much.
- Former Employee, more than 8 years★★★★★
Pros
The people were great. Talented and knowledgeable. Pay was good for the time (see cons). Culture amongst colleagues was good. Work could be interesting but was generally boring and mundane. Lack of career progression. It used to be a great place to work.
Cons
Pay has stagnated to the point where it's basically market rate. However other companies offer better conditions, systems, career opportunities etc Systems were horrible. It took about 10 years to upgrade from Windows 7 (some areas are still using it, despite being a security risk) and about 6 years to get Lync / Skype / Teams up and running. Management constantly make bad decisions and it's up to the staff to fix them. No accountability. Management culture is bad. Minimal interactions with their staff or attempts to listen to them, even though many staff are quite knowledgeable and helpful. Reputation on the outside / in the market. A recruiter at a company I subsequently joined even said, "we pretty much blacklist resumes from QR!" Turnover at the highest level. There's been about 8 CEO's since 2010,, making it hard to set a direction.

Pros
A lot of good benefits.
Cons
If you know someone it is easier to get into certain jobs
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Flexible working hours. Central location.
Cons
Excessive amount of managers. Managers for managers for managers for manager. Union heavy work place. Not always for the best. Few ‘perks’. No bonuses.

Pros
Great team to work with
Cons
More transparency across all teams
- Former Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★

Bullying culture perpetuated through management on all levels

Pros

Cons
government driven courier mail focus
- Former Employee, more than 5 years★★★★★
Pros
Stable job Good benefits Lots of opportunities to start a new career with an apparent preference to hire mostly internal applicants
Cons
Slow at making decisions Innovative ideas seldom progress Consistent and afraid of change You will find that you will wait a long time for change
