I worked at Quicken Loans full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Was there 6+ years and hope to return someday. Excellent experience all around.

    Cons

You work hard to make good money. You must commit yourself 100% to be successful.

    Advice to Management

When a team member separates but is in good standing and left for a medical reason, please offer a contact to get in touch with to return when ready.

I have been working at Quicken Loans full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - They are genuinely there for you, they stand behind their culture and it is true.
    - They are very flexible when something comes up or you need time off, work from home, etc.
    - They take what you want into all considerations and help you get where you want to be. The leaders want this to be your career and will help you to make it that way.
    - The benefits are amazing
    - You are able to experience so many new things instead of it just being a "job".

    Cons

    - The commute can be tough especially when you park further away because you take a shuttle to your building. This just adds at least 15 min once you actually park. It would be nice to be able to park at your building and be able to walk right in or have a quicker way to do so.
    - Looking at all of the other reviews, there are always going to be something negative that someone doesn't like but at the end of the day, it is a job. If you do your job, you do well and you have a great time doing it.

I worked at Quicken Loans (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you are good at sales and spend 80 hours a week there like management wants you will find success and be rewarded monetarily.

    Cons

Promises of less hours are always around the corner but never come
    Average 11-12 hour days
There were cases where I worked 15 straight days

    Advice to Management

Stop working people like dogs. You get paid for success here, so just lower the hours and people will weed themselves out like they already do.

I have been working at Quicken Loans full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Creative and innovative environment for professional development and experience-building.

    Cons

Non-student interns often get stuck in a loop of extended internships with no prospect of a full-time offer. It's important to remember that internships are meant to be temporary and interns should plan to move on! There is very limited room for growth here.

    Advice to Management

Better development plan. Where will Community Fund be in 5 years? Is it expanding in size, and not just reach? Is there room for growth here? What are the long-term goals?

I worked at Quicken Loans full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    - Great Parking
    - Discounts at local businesses

    Cons

    - Management says one thing but does another. They preach the ISMs across the company, to the point where we're constantly reminded of them, but most managers don't follow the ISMs themselves. One major is example is "A Penny Saved is A Penny." They've seemed to stop investing in team members by cutting overtime.
    - Salaried team members are constantly reminded of how grateful they are to get paid more in order to make them okay with working more than 40 hours, even though hourly team members are capped at 40 (since there is no overtime). I don't think it's fair for salaried team members to be guilted into giving up a work/life balance simply because they're salaried.
    - Management isn't transparent at all; they don't communicate effectively with team members about the behind the scenes of their team's programs but they want team members to report everything. Management also say they'll help develop your career, but never let you know their plan for career development and don't follow through.

    Advice to Management

Be more transparent and be honest with your team members.
