Pros

They can keep you busy.

Cons

No teamwork. Everyone talks behind people's backs and the time spent in the office is on how to make others look bad. Complaint left and right about the new controller and accounting. Between those two departments, it's gossip gossip and more gossip about all the other people.

This individual was employed by Accountemps and placed at RORE as a temporary Project Coordinator for three months on an as needed basis. Her work was less than exemplary and her skill level did not match her resume. Her comments are unwarranted as she was not involved in the company - except to partake in monthly staff luncheons. Comments about her work product and her work ethic have been provided to Accountemps for evaluation.

Pros

Great co-workers Flexible schedule as long as you do't ask for it Lots of hats to wear Great learning experience Make sure you keep looking if you take one of their jobs! Construction Project Executive is great to work for No micro management

Cons

-Upper management is horrific -Will not promote, give raises or acknowledge the work you really do -The controller of the company is a bully and is not interested in getting people or subcontractors paid -Constantly losing money on projects -More interested in what your personal social media page looks like than how to be successful on a project -Turn over rate is at least 80% -No one here has been with the company more than 5 years because as one senior management personnel said "our turn over rate is normal" -Not a favorable company for woman...even though woman own the business

small company not the best

Pros

Not many pros here - it a small company with direct engagement of the owner involvement and a sister who is a part owner and the in-house attorney.

Cons

This company is extremely poorly managed at the top by the owner and her sister. They do not treat their staff very well. Churn and burn is the day-to-day method used. There is a constant drone of problems created by overloading staff and having unmanaged issues going right to the top where little help is offered employees. They fire people without notice or providing separation pay. All you need do is go to LinkedIn and type in RORE, Inc. in search to see how many former employees there are.
