I have been working at Raytheon Technologies full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Sincere attempt at a meritocracy. Ability to work on rigorous engineering projects. Lots of opportunity to get help - whether it’s personal or help to improve performance

    Cons

It’s a large organization. There are many others like you - regardless of position. You might be limited in discussing work due to DoD classification considerations.

I have been working at Raytheon Technologies full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Various positions available in all facets of the business. You are not tied down to only your area of expertise. The work can be challenging and may require outside the box thinking. Work/Life balance is encouraged with the several flexible work arrangements, such as 9/80 schedules, modified time, work from home, etc.

    Cons

Moving up can be difficult due to HR requirements, no skipping levels. Benefits are standard for the industry and mirror all other major federal contractors. Salary is highly regulated by department averages and negotiation is nearly non-existent if you earn more than your peers.

I have been working at Raytheon Technologies full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Decent benefits, but far from the best. Allow some positions to be remote.

    Cons

Not the best pay, promote from outside or from internal leadership with virtually no career growth for those that don't come in at a leadership position
