I have been working at Raytheon Technologies full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The vast ecosystem of the corporation gives you room to grow both laterally and vertically. As with all jobs, you best bet is having a good manager/champion to advance in your career and experience. You'll have to find them, but they exist here.

    Cons

The company is still going through the growing pains of hiring a younger workforce. Much of upper management is at retiring age and they have a culture of taking a long time to reach key positions.

I have been working at Raytheon Technologies full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The programs they offer here are highly interesting. The hours are fairly flexible and the benefits are pretty good. Pay tends to be higher than other positions in the private sector, but it’s pretty on par with other aerospace/defense companies

    Cons

There are both good and bad programs. Some are managed well while others are managed terribly. There is also a lot of overhead when it comes to corporate policies that All programs seem to have way to many meetings. Promotions can be slow.

I have been working at Raytheon Technologies full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Weather is great in Tucson. Great promotion potential if you’re a minority or female. Great if you fall under one of the “diverse” employee categories.

    Cons

High property crime in Tucson. Schools are generally some of the worst in the US. Very poor promotion potential if you’re not a minority or female. Low raises once you’re in. Lots of incompetents in management who got there for the wrong reasons. Company devoted to the social engineering called “diversity”. Not many other options in Tucson and therefore once you’re in raises are low.
