      Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Red Bull Media House part-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

Strong CV contender. Endless budget for productions. No targets to hit. Relaxed workplace.

      Cons

Boys club (especially in Salzburg office). Don't expect to progress to high as a woman. For such a 'hip' company the workplace is abysmal - no funky offices, no flexitime, no fun events, no workplace activities. A bunch of creative people stuck in a souless Austrian institution. Incredible how such a cool brand can get its employee experience so wrong. Upper management constantly changing direction, little to no focus...

      Advice to Management

Bring the workplace into the 21st century. As such a cool company employees expect their workplace to reflect the brand. Stop micromanaging and the need for constant meetings.

I have been working at Red Bull Media House full-time (Less than a year)

      Pros

A lot of free goodies. Friendly people. Insights in whats going on right now in the world of Red Bull.

      Cons

Got promised of a startup flair/Google flair. Feels more like an old company flair.

      Advice to Management

As sportive, cultural, hip, trending, company you should support your employees also with these things. Movie nights with the newest snowboard productions. Sport facilities. Small stuff like a chill area with a pingpong table (More Google flair). Celebrate big events more internally (Live screenings, News, ... )

      Pros

Lots of learning experiences if you put yourself out there, strong team support and a work hard play hard mentality.

Everyone is held accountable, there isn't much con to speak about.

I worked at Red Bull Media House full-time

      Pros

Great environment to work in. For working within the administrative side of the music industry, the pay is quite good. Benefits are good as well.

      Cons

Dealing with office politics is not fun. It felt more pronounced at RBMH than even at other music companies, which came as a surprise.

I worked at Red Bull Media House full-time for more than 5 years

      Pros

Travel, Benefits, working on amazing projects that actually do make an impact.

      Cons

At first working here seemed amazing, however, you quickly realize this company is built on a foundational boys club with too many who are promoted for their relationships not performance or simply had their title changed. It is great to see they have recently started promoting more woman and hiring POC. Be warned though that woman will be held to much more stringent rules than men and will have less opportunities to...
