    - lots of opportunity to learn and progress if you have the right attitude towards the job - Supportive Area managers who want to see you do well which is refreshing in such a stressful industry - Great discount: Managers 50% up to £500 and Staff 40% up to £250 plus uniform allowance every 6-8 weeks - Versatile environment, no day is ever the same and it never gets boring! - New CEO has brought in some excellent initiatives for staff and managers as well as some great ideas to ease the day to day stresses put on the team! Well done Will!

    Uniform discount, some nice colleagues,

    Cons

    Worked you continuously with no praise and little recognition of hard work. Higher Management were very clicky and made their staff do all of the hard work. There was a lot of bullying here that made Staff feel isolated and alone, this I saw with my own eyes. They cared more about policies than the safety of their staff and always undermined you infront of aggressive customers.

    I have been working at River Island Clothing full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Progression is there if you are willing to develop/push yourself. I have been a women's and a men's product/sales manager now a deputy of a large store. Reward and Recognition is there now more than ever after a staff survey. RI listen to there employees.

    Cons

    Sometimes we do get unrealistic deadlines or last min information and expected to turn it around with minimal resources without additional hours.
