    Pros

    - Autonomy - Mentorship & Guidance - Proximity to Board Room/ Leadership - Family-like environment. Genuine, caring managers (no air/ ego)

    - In some ways, still scrappy in its processes. Suitable for those who hustle -- less so for those who prefer structured working environment.

I worked at Roland Berger full-time

    Pros

Juniors are given high responsibility in delivering work Teammates are generally nice

    Cons

No life. Investment banking hours are actually no where near. High turnover. People are staying for shorter and shorter duration now Lack of a structured learning environment. Managers do not spend much time training juniors because everyone is very busy

    Advice to Management

Get some scale and more expert resources. Put more emphasis on people development rather than sucking their blood

I have been working at Roland Berger full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

High levels of responsibility even at junior levels Work life balance is good (for a consulting firm) Opportunities for international work Mixture of short and long projects

    Cons

Heavy focus (in London office, very different in other offices) on Aerospace & Defense/Private Equity work, if this doesn't interest you, you're better off looking elsewhere

I have been working at Roland Berger full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Amazing colleagues, not only some of the smartest people I know, but also down-to-earth, approachable (from JC to Partner level) and great fun to work with. - Top tier projects, on par with MBB in terms of topics covered and quality of work, often better - Entrepreneurial environment with many opportunities to step up & assume responsibilities in the company's development

    Cons

    - Offices still not as integrated/ collaborative, a bit of silo work, knowledge sharing not always ideal
