Cons

Run energy Australia was alright to work for the year or so. You sign up to do a 14/7 roaster but you soon find out more often then not your ask or told you need to work back longer and slot of the time never get your full 7 days of at home. The culture within the company is very poor and some may say it’s a party culture with most employees drinking most nights and also using illegal drug regularly. I am glad to be out of this culture as it was not just effecting my work but also my personal life and health as well. Management would always say they are there to help but most jobs were very unorganised and the Balme always fell back in the supervisor and the crew although management very rarely would even travel to site to quote the jobs and come see how the job was progressing instead just deciding to sit in the office all day an work from there. If anyone is thinking of working here I’d say go for it but do not expect much and to say the least I don’t see the company going much further in the future as there are a few up and coming company’s that are already taking there work from them and I plan on doing the same in the coming year.

Pros

Great pay and hours. A lot of travel. New experiences gained daily. Become wind technician without needing to go to school for it.

Cons

Contract work, so after a contract ends you could be out of work for months. Supervisors and managers send people out for jobs based on favoritism not skill set, convenience, or work needs of employees.
