I have been working at SHI International full-time for more than a year

    Pros

-Good place to work at right out of college -Good corporate learning experience -Sales program to get you ramped up -Potential to make a lot of money

    Cons

-Corporate setting -Extremely unorganized with no structure as to the direction of the company -SHI puts the organization ahead of it's employees, and it really shows with the high turnaround. -Very High-school/Frat esque

I worked at SHI International full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good People and a fine place to start career in tech sales as you learn about it all. Great educating program Enjoyable atmosphere at times.

    Cons

"female and minority owned" is shoved down its employees throats at every turn. I wish they'd take a step back from making this a "talking point" to customers and prospects. Little to no real career growth, lateral moves unless going outside the company.. of which, they frown upon advancing yourself with one of their partners. M-i-c-r-o M-a-n-a-g-e-m-e-n-t.

I have been working at SHI International full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Only good if you are just out of college looking for experience, as they will hire ANYONE.

    Cons

CC, compensation shrinking in an industry where margins are continually shrinking already due to cloud and IAAS. They will have a hard job adjusting to the changes in the industry, and their hiring classes (25+) won't be sustainable into the near term. Perks aren't there, say they love their people and appreciate a fun culture, but do everything they can to capture more profit for their bottom line (and less to you). Worst thing is that they make these changes at a moments notice, giving no time to adjust your life, expenses, etc, accordingly. CEO is never present at any meetings, and up until I saw her a few weeks ago I honestly thought she was just an imaginary person.

I worked at SHI International full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Free vendor lunches, swag and young culture

    Cons

Terrible management in every level. Favoritism is ridiculous. Hire educated leaders not cowards that can't manage. 30K base is lowest in Austin and it won't change. GM is maxed out per year. You most likely won't make over 40k in the first year they will lie to you.
