I worked at SIRVA full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Self managed for the most part, great people in the team

    Cons

Very little upper management support, unless things went wrong, and the support was then only to fix that issue. Busy period consistently worked 12 hour days, with no compensation, as classed as 'reasonable overtime'

I have been working at SIRVA full-time

    Pros

    - Some greatly supportive Managers - Flexibility - Good 'team' mentality shared by the hard workers in the officers

    Cons

    - Management allows hard workers to pull the weight for poor performers, while the poor performers reap the better benefits. - Poor Management across some departments - It's found acceptable for staff to speak harsh and unprofessionally to other staff. - There are too many staff within the company not willing to assess processes and implement the most efficient and effective way. It would increase productivity across the board and would require less staff across branches which is more cost effective). - Programs used are out-dated - the biggest one being the Intranet not having a search bar. You can spend so much time looking for a document/information = Unproductive. - 'Team' mentality is non-existent for the slack employees
