    Pros

    Nice people who want to do a good job.

    Cons

    High paying administrators who do not know how to do their job. Little guys get stuck working 10 -12 hours, with no recognition or thank you

    Advice to Management

    Human resources needs to do a better job or vetting staff and what their capabilities are.

    Pros

    Great coworkers. Facility is up to date with technology. Scheduling is good based on your manager, keep in mind that SUNY is 80hrs/2weeks.

    Cons

    Everything is seniority based in the facility. If you plan on staying in the state system you'll be rewarded.

    Advice to Management

    DON is seemingly accessible. Managers are apparochable.

    Pros

    Enjoyed working at University Hospital since a teaching/academic affiliated medical center. Liked caring for high acuity and medically complex patients. Some benefits were good, such as the pension plan.

    Cons

    Frequent turn over in staff. Work place bullying a significant problem, in addition to staff not held accountable for making false statements other providers they choose to target.

    Advice to Management

    Significant changes need to be made at all levels of management, particularly areas with the highest turn over rates.
