Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI worked at Schnitz Franchising part-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Relaxed staff, generally quiet and easy
Cons
Terrible upper management, HQ have no regard for what customers care about and there was a visible drop in profits for certain menu changes which were compulsory. Franchises were not regulated, missed out on lots of opportunities because of this. Pay was minimum and a lot of OT was never paid. Head office did not care at all

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI worked at Schnitz Franchising part-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Other stores will hire you if you want to move stores as they don't want to pay for training
Cons
Ripped off by being paid lower, on a different award to competitors. Franchises aren't regulated often enough, always a fight between head office and franchises. Head office ignores manager complaints or doesn't do much to fix it

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Schnitz Franchising for more than a year
Pros
50% off food on your shift, 10% off food when not working Possibilities to advance If you have a good team and manager, it’s a fun environment Team feels like a family Great pay
Cons
Literally need to sell dip sauces to every person even if they’re just getting a drink. It’s a joke. If you have a bad manager, the job is extremely stressful as you don’t feel valued. Head office don’t really listen to anything you have to say to resolve a situation. Team members asking for sponsorship from the company for their sports team is biased. They’ll give it to whoever sucks up the most. When the manager is an ahole with behavioural issues and makes 16 year olds cry on their 3 hour shifts, and team leaders are pitted against each other through rumours and favouritism, it’s an extremely toxic environment.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI worked at Schnitz Franchising full-time for less than a year
Pros
Young company, staff can be great people, honestly very hard to meet a 20 word minimum trying to say pros about this company.
Cons
Mostly franchised, Franchise owners have no leadership or people skills. Training resource and reference material lacking or generally in-accessible. More focused on dollar signs and decimal points then customer service, staff happiness or overall experience. A food court business trying to play in the restaurant game. No communication through the hierarchy & a immense lack of support from head office. Head office run by a collection of in-experienced staff wasting time on to many "new things" that are never brought to fruition rather than creating systems and processes that bring the staff fundamentals and customer service into line with their apparent core values and mission statement. Behave like a premium product store when most. un-compensated extra hours. excessive work loads. dodgy book work in franchises. loose compliance guidelines for franchisees. damn the list could go on.
