    - Paid minimum retail award wage. - No clothing allowance (surprising, considering the price of clothes & the expectation to have new outfits every single month) - Gift card is only given if all KPIs (wages allocation, multi rate, budget) are hit.     - Ensure consistent training across all stores. Either cluster managers or HR need to ensure that store managers are fulfilling their job title. - Don't expect your sales assistants to be head to toe in current product if there is no clothing allowance given. - Not giving an employee 3 days off during a ‘blackout’ period for religious reasons is discriminatory. - Some managers need to be trained in HR!       Staff some really great people but absolutely used by company

      Cons

      Micro management ina passive aggressive environment. Underpaid and asked to work extra hours without being able to take time in lieu or paid

      Start looking at what you pay your staff and your culture of chewing people up

      Manager was psychotic and rude Area manager didn’t listen to staff feedback Sub par salary Expected to work over 38 hours every week with no overtime

      Advice to Management

      Listen to your staff when they come to you with issues and concerns regarding the business. Train your management on how to communicate with the team some are super rude and come across condescending and belittling. If there is a high turnover of staff that work with a certain manager and you’re aware of it don’t just ignore it, make changes! Just because a manager gets things done doesn’t mean they are a good manager.

      Overtime with no pay, ridiculous expectations bordering on slavery, Upper management are bullies. Disgusting.

      Stop your insane bullying to store managers and their team members! Someone needs to take you all to fair work

      Higher management blames decreses in sales purely on sales assistants and never question product not being competitive. Any comments from store managers or sales assistants regarding product not meeting customer wants is often ignored and staff are simply told to try harder. OH&S disaster in stock rooms.

      Advice to Management

      Listen to your teams, some of your staff have been there for over 10 years... they know your customers at times better than the designers. Believe in them and listen to their concerns.

      Great team environment. Good incentives. Fast paced environment and mostly good customers.

      Cons

      All management was poor and incompetent (store, regional, state). If you were a favourite, you got the easy jobs and the rules didn't apply to you. If you weren't you had to work much harder and were not acknowledged for it. Lots of gossiping by managers. Casuals and part-timers were running the store as management didn't pull their weight.       If more than one complaint has been made about a manager, it might be time to look into it deeper rather than sweep it under the carpet.

      - If you're looking for a company with an unsettling, bitter, money hungry culture seed heritage is the place for you! - Strict VM standards which will only really benefit you if you pursue working as a VM for another brand as you would've gained experience from somewhere that takes it quite seriously.

      - If you are not the favourite you will be forced to do the same mindless competitive tasks and micromanaged. You will NEVER feel in control. Managers delusional about their importance, state manager is two faced and even the vms act like the untouchables. - No stability in your position. - Bullying culture, particularly if you are ill.       Very good discount, made some lovely friendships.

      Cons

      Horrible management, incredibly lazy and implemented no standards, which meant the casual staff were also lazy. Upper management and head office also seemed to be incredibly incompetent.

      Advice to Management

      Get new management.
