      Pros

      1. Great if you are incredibly money motivated! Seattle area has good growing business with opportunities to sell in to. 2. This location got a new GM who is a breath of fresh air! He want to see everyone grow and build a good culture. 3. No competing again your coworkers, they give you your own territory! 4. Their products are amazing and they are coming out with more!

      Cons

      1. The management is stuck in the 80’s. They just got a new GM so hopefully that will change. 2. They encourage unhealthy work habits, working 12 hour days normally, working weekends, and working when you’re sick. 3. Man dominated environment and it can get unfriendly.

      Make it a fun culture and make longevity the key

      Pros

      Some initial training consist of three days of videos and I'm going away for a week and then you're on your own. The new office is nice

      Cons

      Low marketshare, lack of competitive pricing. No leads all businesses self generated are you trying to get just a customers upgrade and sign a new lease

      Maybe try some marketing instead of churn & burn on reps

      Base salary OK Benefits OK M-F 9-5pm Good work life balance

      Cons

      Company does not do any marketing no lead generation for service/products. Often price beat out by other local smaller copier independent distributors. Manager should be promoted from within. Better Training on B-2-B sales and dealing with C level decision makers.

      Copier industry is dying.

      Great place to be recruited on to bigger and better opportunities.

      Cons

      Extremely low pay for the work. Little to no development. High turnover. Old school sales techniques in a high tech sales environment. SBS is a very young company and has a long way to go, but there is no point in sticking around to find out how long.

      Advice to Management

      Hire innovative people who will breath new life in this outdated company. Spend money to make money...emplopyees, marketing, customers.

      I worked at Sharp Electronics (US) for less than a year

      Pros

      They're a big company but the name is still hard to be branded. Can't compete with names such Xerox, Canon and Ricoh just to name a few.

      Cons

      Terrible support system if you're working from home. I got the pink slip in just 4 months. If you're seeking employment with this company, beware they will give you the same treatment like I did.

      Back to basics people; help out the newbies.

      Assist your reps and be available to new hires. Be present and available. Training is the backbone to successful teams.
