It’s unfortunate that your experience was less than ideal, but I realize that our company is not for everyone. I also appreciate that you mentioned that we get to work with some really great clients. As a smaller team, it has always been important that there is a shared sense of goals and values with clients which includes a healthy work-life balance. We offer a competitive PTO policy that allows employees to advance their PTO before it is actually accrued. Prior to covid, we had an unlimited work-from-home policy, and today as a remote company, we strive to minimize the number of internal meetings that take away valuable time in a day. I’m surprised to hear that our project management software was challenging for you to learn. We selected this tool three years ago due to its positive reviews. Admittedly, the knowledgebase can feel a bit overwhelming if you have never used a task management tool before, so I’d encourage employees to familiarize themselves with our project management guidelines and ask for help. The marketing specialist position has been a great entry point into our company over the years with over 90% seeing a compensation increase within their first year. We do not expect anyone to know everything about marketing. One of our core values is 'Learn Everyday' which embraces the ongoing process of improving skills and knowledge over time. I truly believe we train and develop really top-tier marketing talent - the best. This is demonstrated by looking at our alumni holding senior marketing leadership roles at some of the world's fastest-growing startups as well as our accelerated promotion path internally. Last but not least, employee termination is not taken lightly and we do everything we can to ensure each employee will see success here but in rare cases, it does not work out.
