    - no match for 401k - chart notes

    Advice to Management

    My only concern working as a dental hygienist for the company is the chart noting. I work 2 columns and at times do 3 columns when I accept a cleaning for new patients to offer "yes!" and "same day starts" motto. With the repetitive motion on my wrists after scaling and especially writing down all those notes, they get tired. I believe digital charting would help quicken charting and ease little tension on the wrists....

    Full clinical Autonomy, support from specialists.

    Cons

    High staff and assistant turnover, not enough patients to produce good, not up to date with current technology, management and front desk keeps changing all the time, not a stable work environment.

    Advice to Management

    Pay employees enough and treat them well so they feel valued and don't quit so frequently. Get high quality assistants who are knowledgeable and present themselves, their doctors and the office well. Pay the doctors a guaranteed base salary so they don't leave when it gets slow.

    Smile Brands is always bringing in new protocols trying to make this company the best they can be but can cause confusion because there are some people that don't always get the newest protocol.

    Pros

    I started with Smile Brands as an extern. I have worked hard and have worked my way up to Market Specialty Manager. The leadership has always been great and I would love to grow even more with this company.

    My only con is that I would like for the company to pay more into our 401K.
