    Pros

    Smile Brands has a unique culture and that is Smiles For Everyone!

    Rolled initiatives that help us offer a great patient experience.

    We offer days of giving which in turn allows us to feel complete by offering care to those who are in need not only in our community, but in other parts of the world.

    In our yearly leadership meetings guest speakers come out and provide inspiring and motivating speeches that help us advance and grow not only personally, but also professionally.

    Cons

    We need more Dentists as we are a growing company with not enough providers in certain areas.

    Pros

    I have a job where I am allowed the ability to grow my Team through positive reinforcement. We meet business targets by focusing on improving behaviors and the patient experience. Everyday I get the privilege to impact the life’s of peers, staff and patients for the better. I could imagine working anywhere else!

    Pros

    I was contacted by Kimberly Anderson via text/email very shortly after applying through glassdoor.com. She was prompt about the whole process and set up an interview with myself and the regional manager, Ivanina, the following week. The interview went great! No trick questions or anything that caught me off guard. I felt like she was genuinely trying to get to know me and I liked that she explained the companies background and mission statement. She offered me a full-time position but unfortunately, I had just accepted a part-time position with a different company a few days prior to this interview. She was willing to work with my schedule and offered me an on-call/ temp position so I accepted it. Being fresh out of school I was worried about finding work, but this company LOVES new grads!

    I have mainly worked in the Moreno Beach office in Moreno Valley, CA, and I love it! The days can be very busy and extremely fast-paced (but this is personally how I like to work). The manager, Dr., and front-office-staff are very friendly and awesome to work with! The dental assistants are great and are such a huge help in the back. They not only guide you throughout your busy days, but they sterilize your instruments, flip rooms, and help with perio charting.

    This company offers a pretty good bonus system as well!

    Cons

    Not the biggest deal but:
    -paper charts.
    -no digital schedule to refer to in the back.
    -the company doesn't offer laser tx.
    -late hours

    I worked at Smile Brands full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    The office location is great, right off the freeway and there are good food options for lunch across the street at the Spectrum.

    Cons

    No one really talked to each other. Almost all communication was through excessive emails all day from management nitpicking every little thing. Work is not evenly distributed, those who have been there a long time get to skate by and only do the bare minimum. If you show you’re a hard worker you are given more work. Honestly, no one seemed happy until it was time to clock out. Health benefits are expensive. There is no dental insurance, you have to go to their dental offices. No tuition reimbursement, no sick time and the PTO/ holidays are minimal. My biggest issue was no 401k matching, who wants to work for a company that doesn’t want to invest in your future?

    Advice to Management

    Stop with all the nepotism. The attitude of management needs to be changed. Stop sending emails that are as long as an essay. Offer better benefits.
