The salaries were decent at the time I was there. If you are a crafter, you can enjoy the employee discounts.
Cons
We were not given trackable goals nor guidance once our manager left the company. This is a craft company, whose primary customer base is women, is being run by misogynistic men who have blatant disdain for the craft market.
If you can get beyond the obvious silos, there are some great people there.
The men in upper management are not misogynistic as noted previously in another review - not even close. But each dept seems to operate as a clique and both men and women are guilty of facilitating that environment.
The unstable, paranoid, dysfunctional, dishonest family that used to run the company is no longer part of it and that is certainly a plus.
401k match is decent.
Cons
Constant anxiety over if the company will shut down due to poor financial decisions being commonplace - a sense of always waiting for the other shoe to drop.
There are a handful "employees" who suck up payroll dollars in positions not requiring full-time employees or they just have a much weaker work ethic than others. These are ignored by upper management and is very poor for morale when some are overworked and see others show up for 5 hrs and get paid full time or take more vacation/time off than is even offered.
Medical benefits are not great.
