Pros

It’s a nice place to work at when you do have a job there, but read the following section.

Cons

The management doesn’t treat software engineers as valuable resource. They don’t hesitate to fire whole teams after a project is completed. They’ve done it several times before I came to the company and in my case they’ve made a rather odd suggestion. After we completed our project on time (the date was set a year in advance) I was suggested to take an unpaid vacation for a month until a new project appears. After the month there was still no new project, so once again I was asked to take an unpaid vacation or leave the company. I left. Please beware. If you are a software developer you can be asked to leave if someone didn’t think to find a project for the team beforehand.

Pros

- Number of highly talented people to work with - Decent salary - Good location of office - Free snacks

Cons

*Situation may vary from project to project(so this is related for just my): -very poor quality of management - most of managers do not have any project related background.So such thing as quality standards almost do not exist. -overtimes are common thing -corporate culture more about politics than about healthy product.

- Possibility to work on AAA-projects sometimes - Good office location in Saint-Petersburg (Russia)

Cons

- Different approach to local and foreign employees: foreign employees' salary is x2-x3 higher and they have additional social benefits such as residential rental payment compensation from the company - Aggressive HR policy: massive hiring when the project starts and dismissal of the whole department on the end of the project occasionally - Low qualified and lazy management: projects managers and producers who shift the blame and their gaps on common workers - Shifty and deceptive top management: promise a lot to employees but often "forget" about given promises
