I worked at Sportsbet.com.au full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Fun and relaxed environment. Great Culture Beers at least once a week (every Friday)

    Cons

Management grooms people they like, not people with potential to grow. Politics. You're in the bad books if you do something bad and will be perceived that way. Offers secondment opportunities for development to staff but when a permanent opportunity comes, job is advertised and offered to another candidate with lesser experience. Required to do multiple roles while maintaining your own day to day job.

    Pros

Free Breakfast, Food, Coffee, work/life balance.

    Cons

Friday plenty of free alcohol. No soft drinks. On paper, direct management cares about you but will drop you like a hot potato if they believe you are no longer needed. Expect to be on-call 24x7 for no extra $$$.

I worked at Sportsbet.com.au full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Culture culture and culture. Always fun events on, great catering, friday beers, games, activities. Everyone is really easy going and fun

    Cons

The business analyst stream is a bit of an outlier in the business. The BA culture is in stark contrast to the rest of the company- dull and dry. Also not much room for career growth as a BA or any training

    Pros

The culture is great. They tend to nail it with hiring for the culture. Very competitive paid parental leave. Flexible work options. 5 weeks annual leave.

    Cons

Salaries aren't competitive. Contractors tend to earn heaps more than full time staff which creates tension within teams.
