      Pros

Great office and location. Flexible and fun working environment. Plenty of internal opportunities to develop your career in any directions and you are encouraged to do so.

      Cons

After a rapid growth in the last few years, the company has kind of lost its start-up culture. The funny thing is it has become slow and inefficient after it has gone through the so called "agile transformation" which many think is a total disaster. It has hired numerous "agile coaches", "iteration mangers", "engagement managers", "scrum masters" and you name it. The intention was to make Sportsbet more 'agile' while it has achieved the complete opposite. Some agile teams have dozens of people while taking forever to deliver something useful. It's very hard to find time to do some actual work as your calendar is usually filled with ridiculously long and frequent meetings such as scrum, scrum of scrums, ideation workshop, showcases, retros, celebrations etc. Sportsbet used to lead the market with new and innovative ideas and products and now they are playing catch-ups. Our competitors can copy our products in weeks while it takes us months or even years to do something similar. There's not many people leaving a couple of years ago but you see some good people leaving almost every week since last year.

      Pros

Fundamental to Sportsbet's success as an organisation has been the ability to create a working environment whereby individuals and teams are strongly invested in, encouraged to be creative and to show no fear when it comes to challenging the norm. Sportsbet is a strategically guided organisation that isn't afraid of committing to and upholding a strong set of commercial and social values. If you want the ability to make a difference and be challenged to realise your potential, Sportsbet is a great place to be.

      Cons

Commercial reality has necessitated some structural changes recently. This has been unfamiliar territory for many of us and primarily due to the strong relationships throughout the organisation, it has been difficult to adjust to some of the changes.

      Pros

Based centrally out of Melbourne with a great work environment, Sportsbet is an excellent company that values it's employees. They really look after their own with tremendous amount of opportunities to ramp up your skills through trainings, offsites, job swing chances -at Sportsbet you are encouraged to identify your passion and work towards fulfilling it. The people I work with are genuinely interested in making you feel at home and go out of their way to help newbies settle in. The company encourages lateral thinking and is really invested in its core values of Fun, Curious Competitive Fair and Fast

      Pros

The most amazing culture and work environment. A passionate leadership team that go after the right things and trust their talent to do what needs to be done. A clear focus on developing their people and providing opportunities. Very family oriented with work flexibility. A lot of organisations say they want to change and be innovative, but sportsbet really mean it. It's totally refreshing. This is an awesome place for anyone that likes a challenge, enjoys a fast paced environment, loves to learn and be collaborative. I highly, highly recommend i

      Cons

None that comes to mind. If the right role comes up, I would be at the Sportsbet doors in a heartbeat.

      Pros

      * Drinks on Friday * Flexible working environment * Casual every day * Fruit, coffee, tea, breakfast cereals, bread and spreads * Employee Recognition program * Bonus based on company and personal performance (Not guaranteed)

      Cons

      * Poor guidance from management * Poor communication from management and between teams * Technically skilled people are not consulted, but more so, dictated to. * Many people can talk the talk but are unable to deliver * Employee rewards and recognition is usually around product delivery and not technical teams * No career progression in technical teams * Miss out on two of the three key deliverables (Time, Cost, Quality), They always deliver on Time (well.....) * Employees are not valued compared to the bottom line. Cash is king. * Last restructure was poorly communicated and executed. * No one understood ITIL framework as Agile is a way of life, but it has a long way to go before it is suitably effective
