    Pros

Good brands and products. Opportunities are frequent due to acquisitions and steady stream of people leaving. Good operating systems.

    Pros

Being a global US business provide opportunity to learn advanced systems.

    Cons

Most of the people get paid low wages unless you are a 'yes man' or management favourite. HR (one man show) is totally corrupt and full of lies who just carry out orders from management. Only same people get promoted every year No work life balance Too much politics Management just want to hit numbers at any cost to get their bonus. Good people keep leaving and what remain is 'management pets' or their...

    Pros

Nice clean new workplace, with the latest computer systems

    Cons

Employees are considered as objects. Decisions are made by corporate head office which are mindlessly carried out by management in Australia. Very much here today and gone tomorrow without any human consideration. Low salary payers

    Advice to Management

Stop surrounding yourselves with yes people like yourselves

I have been working at Stanley Black & Decker full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Plenty of opportunity for advancement within the organization. Those who work hard are eventually rewarded. World-class organization with a strong culture of acceptance, integrity and promoting from within.

    Cons

Work/life balance can be a struggle. Acquisitive growth has led to resource constraints that can mean long hours in order to keep projects on schedule. Work hours are flexible to help accommodate this, but there will be projects that entail regularly working outside of normal business hours.

    Advice to Management

Continue to be transparent with employees about factors impacting hiring and advancement opportunities.
