Pros

- Great social activities, but that seems to be the main focus. - Can be really flexible (depends who you work for)

Cons

- 'Boys Club' - Managers and Section Leaders are arrogant, rude, and belittle females (sorry should say 'girls). - Hours are very long with a toxic 'work hard play hard' mentality - For some reason only the toxic people get promoted, and then the people who try to work for good change leave. - Deadlines are often missed, or not adequately allowed for by the Section Managers so nothing gets done without an immense amount of stress - Salary is below average

Pros

Flexible work options - WFH is almost the norm. Leaving.

Cons

The corporate strategy, budgetary expenditure and organisational structure are misaligned with outcomes, outcomes-based management and reporting are lacking, along with an all-or-nothing mindset. Gaslighting is widespread, with critical information being withheld from individuals deemed unnecessary to know, regardless of whether it harms the business, people, projects, and outcomes. Retention of senior staff from previous acquisitions has caused cultural misalignment and identity confusion. The business as a whole seems to misunderstand its own end-to-end objectives and fails to establish structures to address them. This results in the unnecessary waste of vast sums of money due to structural, strategic, and geographical mismatch, as well as face-saving behavior that is linked to the failure to achieve outcomes in a timely manner. Individuals are afraid to take responsibility for outcomes or drive results due to the justified fear of being scapegoated for previously unrealistically set expectations and terminated. Only those who identify problems but take no responsibility for them are retained, creating a snowball effect that deprioritizes outcomes in favor of fear-based actions and adding to the inordinate waste.

Pros

Your employed, Chance to get a company vehicle.

Cons

Crap pay, micromanagers, work on multi million dollar projects + 100k equipment but atrocious pay. Very top heavy company, less then 5% of the staff do work and then the rest try and tell you how to do it.
