I have been working at Star Entertainment Group part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Fancy working environment, free meal, free light rail, free cloth washing, colleagues are nice and friendly.

    Cons

Overnight shifts, unstable working days ie. for this week you working Monday and Tuesday, and next week it might be Wednesday and Thursday. Guest can be aggressive when they start losing, and be rude.

I have been working at Star Entertainment Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Large company and network. Free meals, laundry and light rail travel.

    Cons

Lack of job security, 400+ people lost their jobs in 2019 and with more cuts expected to take place in 2020. Responsibilities for those people were just shifted to existing staff, with lack of support and with a hiring freeze in place to restrict new starters. Gaming department is the money driver, so the food & beverage and hotels departments lack resources for staffing, due to very strict budgets. Lots of great ideas, however, lack of direction and transparency.
