I worked at Stonyfield Farm full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Benefits and vacation time.....as long as you are an older person.

    Cons

Terrible attendance policy. Hr team outright lies to you during the interview as to what the policy really is. Noticeable discrimination against some employees. Definitely favoritisms for overtime and time off. You will notice the reviews on this company are all over the place. Definitely 2 different worlds in this place. The HR TEAM for benefits are fantastic. The others for day to day issues are awful. Definitely lawyers for the company rather than a mitigation person. We won’t even get into the unsafe practices enforced on the warehouse team.

I have been working at Stonyfield Farm full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Benefits - vacation is generous, annual bonus, 401k bonus, and 401k (low fee index funds), pay People - The people are nice and care about what they do. Thoses that dont really fit the mold do tend to leave. Upwards mobility - There seems to be room for advancement and the company likes to promote and help people advance into different roles. Manager - My manager helps me learn and wants me to grow. Likely different for everyone, but I have had a very positive experience. Low cost lunch - Cafeteria onsite with various options and specials. Decent food and pretty good price. Very convenient. Parent company - Stonyfield is owned by Lactalis and they have been investing heavily in the company to make it successful. Excellent change of pace from Dannon.

    Cons

Hours - There is alot of work so it seems like you are expected to get it done some how. I really only work for 830 to 530 with a working lunch and it hasn't been a problem. There are lots of people that do take time so it may just be department dependent. Resistance to change - There is some resistance to change especially when it comes to managment. If it's always been done that way then there is a push to keep doing it that way. It makes things cumbersome. Small changes happen, but big shifts do not. Maybe eventually.

I have been working at Stonyfield Farm full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I can say that I'm truly proud to be a Stonyfield employee! Stonyfield is a great company with a great mission, and I feel truly valued as an employee. Not to mention, we have some truly great benefits that I haven't seen matched at any other company. There has been a lot of change over the last few year, however I believe it has all been for the good and I'm excited to see the future of Stonyfield.

    Cons

None that I can think of at the moment!
