  7. "HORRIBLE COMPANY -- DECEPTIVE AND UNETHICAL -- all positive reviews you see are all from HR!"

    Doesn't Recommend

I worked at Stratasys full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

None. As an Israeli-owned company in the past, they had some drive to invest and open up into foreign markets. US-RUN VERSION IS A MESS, HOWEVER-- executive-level management is deceptive, unethical, corrupt, and does not uphold commitments to its employees, even where they are legal requirements. DO NOT WORK HERE.

    Cons

After relocating my family to a new country for this company, and years of glowing reviews confirming that I had exceeded all company expectations and sales and growth targets, executive-level decided to eliminate my position. I had just wrapped a strong year, and had just received a rock-solid review. Executive-level management confirmed it had nothing to do with my performance. Despite this, and contrary to the employment terms and laws that Stratasys had accepted, I was dismissed with little severance and no warning. Treating management this way creates uncertainty for all remaining employees under the best of circumstances, but in this case the dismissal was ILLEGAL-- contrary to both my employment agreement AND LOCAL laws, which require notice, a decent severance package, and recompense based on years worked. The company's practices also are corrupt and are contrary to INTERNATIONAL LAW. They planned to expand into a market in South America, but never effectively did. Instead, they required that I put myself at personal risk, asking me to set up a shell company to pay taxes and my own salary, as an artificial US Agent. This is illegal, violating trade requirements, tax requirements, and standard business practices. In addition to international business norms, intentional misreporting to foreign governments likely VIOLATES US LAWS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS EMPLOYER. ALL GOOD REVIEWS YOU SEE ON HERE ARE FROM THE HR TEAM!

I worked at Stratasys full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Proud to be associated with the leader in 3D printing. Have access to many internal resources and experts to help in the sales cycle.

    Cons

No proper work location arrangement due to cost cutting. I ended up working from home most of the time and was not compensated for the internet. No local country team support and had to depend on nearest regional assistance which took a long time. This delayed the sales cycle. The regional management I worked with only wanted to have "Yes, Sir" type of people around them and speaking up was not welcome and made you the next target to be kick out from the company.
