Pros
Suffolk Libraries really makes a difference to the communities it serves in so many ways so it's a great place for someone who wants to give back and feel like their work is meaningful.
Cons
Poor pay and lack of opportunities to progress. Lack of diversity in the workforce especially at higher ranks and salaries. No non-white managers for a number of years - unfortunately it's an organisation where who you know and being white/middle class and able-bodied matter more than talent, commitment and hard work.
